Post-Release Services
Unaccompanied children, ages 0–17, enter the U.S. seeking safety and stability. McKinley partners with the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) and is authorized to provide case management in all 50 states. Our team helps children reunite with sponsors and access the education, healthcare, legal, and community resources they need to thrive.
Donate TodayWhat We Do
McKinley’s Post-Release Services provide case management to children released from federal care to their sponsors. Our team connects families with education, healthcare, mental health, and legal resources, tailoring support to each child’s needs. Using a trauma-informed approach, we help youth build stability, safety, and resilience in their new environment.

Who We Serve
We serve unaccompanied children ages 0–17 who are released into the care of approved sponsors across the United States. Sponsors may be family members or trusted caregivers identified and approved by ORR. Families do not apply directly for these services — all cases are referred to McKinley through ORR.
