Anil Vadaparty

President & Chief Executive Officer

Anil brings more than 30 years of experience in human services and has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of McKinley since 2014. Under his leadership, McKinley has experienced steady growth and modernization, more than doubling annual revenue while thoughtfully expanding programs across multiple counties. During this time, McKinley has opened a new nonpublic school, expanded outpatient and adult mental health services, and strengthened its continuum of care across education, housing, and behavioral health.

Anil’s leadership is grounded in a deep commitment to people-centered, trauma-informed care. He led the implementation of McKinley’s Ecological Model of Care and embedded the organization’s HUMAN values into everyday practice, shaping both services and organizational culture. He believes strong systems of care begin with strong, supported people.

Prior to becoming CEO, Anil served as Chief Administrative Officer, overseeing human resources, training, quality improvement, and McKinley’s first successful COA and IACET accreditations. He holds a Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School and a bachelor’s degree from UC Riverside, and is a frequent speaker on leadership, innovation, and the ethical use of technology in human services.

Originally from the East Coast, Anil has made California his home for decades. His wife is a chiropractor, and he is a proud father.  Anil enjoys exercising, learning new things, and spirited sports debates—often about teams that reliably test his optimism year after yea
