Assessments & Interviews

Depending on the role, you may be asked to complete a brief skills assessment to demonstrate your abilities, followed by an interview with our hiring panel to explore your potential fit within McKinley’s team.

Offer & Acceptance

Candidates selected for hire will receive a job offer, typically within two weeks of the final interview. From there, we’ll walk you through the next steps and ensure you feel confident in joining our team.

Internships & Entry-Level Pathways

Volunteer & Unpaid Internships


Unpaid internships at McKinley offer students and individuals a pathway to gain experience, fulfill academic requirements, or give back to their community. These positions provide valuable insight into nonprofit work while helping future leaders build skills, confidence, and connections.

Available Internship Roles


Our Intern program is intended for second-year master ’s-level students pursuing an MFT, MSW, and/or PCC degree. The program primarily serves Riverside County at this time; however, a limited number of slots are also available for Los Angeles County. Interns gain hands-on field experience, supporting clients ages 0–21.
